Both girls love books, get good grades, have a strong personality and always speak their minds. Watson also has a bachelor’s degree in English literature and is an amateur painter, but one of the best-known sides of this British actress is her support towards a conciliatory feminism that could lead to gender equality: “ I’ve realised that ghting for women’s rights has become synonymous with man-hating. If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop” she said.
Emma Watson is also involved in social projects such as poverty eradication through the education of girls, or the impact caused by the lm industry.
Her strong personality is re ected once again on the big screen through one of her most recent roles: Belle, from the Disney’s classic Beauty and the Beast. Another lm in which she has worked this year is e Circle, a science ction thriller directed by James Ponsoldt, in which she has worked side by side with Tom Hanks himself.
In addition, Emma Watson is the image of international brands such as Burberry or Lancôme, and she was voted the world’s sexiest lm star in 2013, according to a survey conducted around the world by Empire, the British lm magazine.
